A Few Highlights from the Play - Act 2
All seems perfect at the end of Act 1 and then there is a huge disruption. That's when the Witch enters.
After figuring out there was a giant in the land, the characters try to figure out a solution. None of them listen to the Witch that they need to feed the boy (Jack) to the giant, and in the meantime, Rapunzel is crushed and killed. The Witch sings a lament (but I can't find it on this computer. I'll add later.).
The Witch finds Jack to give to the giant, but the others do not like this idea. They all decide that it is the Witch's fault that any of this has happened, that's when the Witch sings her farewell song.
"Careful the things you say - children will listen" is the moral of this story for the Witch. The finale.
The Witch finds Jack to give to the giant, but the others do not like this idea. They all decide that it is the Witch's fault that any of this has happened, that's when the Witch sings her farewell song.
